GISLINGHAM VARIETY CLUB

Comedy Tragedy masks Gislingham Variety Club puts on shows in the village hall with all proceeds going to local organisations.

The club produces two or three shows a year recent productions have included "Joseph and his AmazingTechnicolorDreamcoat", "Oliver!" "Fiddler on the Roof","Me and My Girl" and "A Musical Dilemma" written by Peter and Kay Lucas, members of the variety club. The younger members have not been outdone having performed "The Emerald Crown", a musical and "Trouble in Pantoland". In addition the club has put on four Murder Mystery's and a Candlelight Caberet.

'Allo Allo' played to full houses in April 2009.

In November the club put on a Variety Show in Gislingham and also at Bacton.

They put on a murder mystery 'Scared to death' that was performed at the Coach House, Thornham. Easter 2010 saw 'Dracula the Panto'
