Where to stay near Gislingham?

If you are visiting the village there are no hotels or inns actually in the village itself, although there are several not far away. The details are given below. The Four Horseshoes is a 12th century inn situated in the nearby village of Thornham Magna. It is a great place to stay if you want to experience a real olde style country pub (watch out for the low beams in the bar!). It has a restaurant and a few outside tables to enjoy the summer weather.

Bull Auberge

The Auberge is a family hotel and restaurant, off the main Norwich / Ipswich road and close to Gislingham. The restaurant is a 2AA rosette winner, and has a menu which is changed daily, with a speciality on seafood.

Brome Grange Hotel

A little further down the main Norwich / Ipswich road is the Brome Grange. The property is surrounded by gardens and screened from the main road. There are nineteen courtyard bedrooms as well as a restaurant.
